These terms are between you and Softblend, which runs Triber (triber.world and the Triber Android app). By creating an account you agree to them and to our privacy policy.
Who can use Triber
You must be 18 or older. One person, one account. Keep your password to yourself; you're responsible for what happens on your account.
Your content
What you post is yours. You give us permission to store it and show it to the audience you choose, so Triber can work. This includes your weekly recap and share cards. Only post what you have the right to share.
No tolerance for abuse
Don't post or send anything that:
- harasses, bullies, threatens or hates on anyone;
- is sexual content involving minors, or any non-consensual intimate content;
- is pornographic or graphically violent;
- promotes self-harm, terrorism or illegal activity;
- is spam, scams or impersonation, or shares someone's private information.
You can block anyone and report any post. We review reports and remove content that breaks these rules, and suspend or delete accounts that do. Serious cases may be reported to the authorities.
Tribes
Captains run their tribes: who joins, the weekly thread and tournaments. Captains must follow these terms too, and we can step in when they don't.
Chess
Chess.com and Lichess are separate services with their own rules. Scoreboards and tournament results on Triber are for fun; no money or prizes are involved.
The service
Triber is free. We work to keep it running but can't promise it'll always be available or error-free, and we may change or remove features. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses from using Triber.
Leaving
You can delete your account at any time (see how). We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
Changes and law
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app first. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
